A PARISIANNE’s connection
What is it all about: Two French icons for a good cause.
Where is it happening: Paris, France.
The message:Inès de la Fressange is the epitome of the French icon. The former model, once the first exklusive for Chanel, is now coming up with some news: a limited Capsule Collection she collaborated with the likewise iconic French fashion house Petit Bateau. But it’s not just the cute designs of the collection, which made us curious about it. The best thing is the reason of the Capsule Collection: the limited underwear will be sold for a good cause. The proceeds of the clothes go to the FIDH, the International Federation for Human Rights.
On board: It’s the perfect connection between a french lady and a traditional french label. Everything the Petit Bateau stands for is part of the collection: the high quality of materials, the french chic like the Breton-stripes, the comfortable wearability and last but not least: the design heritage the brand is based on since 1893. And this is also what Inès got inspired by. Petit Bateau is a label that goes from generation to generation - from mother to daughter. Or in better words: „Petit Bateau is my childhood“, explains the model.
First impression: The Capsule Collection contains six styles for women, girls and babies like Marinières, turtle necks, tops and panties. And they are arriving just in time for the upcoming Christmas season: They will be sold exclusivly at the Petit Bateau boutiques and online, available from the 16th of November 2016.
